A.T.T.I.C Children's Ministry

ATTIC Children's Ministry starts back on Sunday Nights

January 10, 6:00pm

A.T.T.I.C. (All Together Training In Christ) Children’s Ministry is our church’s ministry to children from birth – 5th grade. We understand that scripture teaches us that parents are the primary spiritual leaders of their children (Deut 4:9; 6:5-9, Psalm 78:4-7, Prov 22:6, etc). Because we as a local church believe that parents are the primary spiritual leaders of their children, we want to work “Altogether” to “Train” children “in Christ”. We as local church leaders believe that it is our call by God to equip our parents in training our children in the knowledge of Christ (Eph 4:11-13).

A.T.T.I.C. Children’s Ministry exists to carry out our church mission to:

  • Make God’s name great
  • Introduce children to Christ
  • Produce growth by depending on the Spirit

Our Children’s Ministry values help describe who we are as a local church body and how we, “altogether” with parents, will accomplish our mission. The following are our values as a Children’s Ministry, which coincide with our overall church values:

  • Spending Time with God (Intimacy with God)
    • Bible Teaching
    • Scripture Memory
    • Quiet Time Daily Devotions
  • Talking to God (Prayer)
    • Asking
    • Adoring
  • Making Christ-Like Friendships (Building Christ-Like Relationships)
    • With Friends
    • With Family
  • Learn & Use Spirit Given Gifts (Engage Our Spirit-Giftedness)

Security for Children

The safety of our children is of utmost importance to us. We live in a day and age where we can never be too cautious. Because of our desire to keep our children safe all volunteers that work directly with children will be given a background check. We are also implementing a new security drop off and pick up system. More information will be given when implemented.  Check out the elementary page or nursery-preschool page for a detailed description of how the security system looks for each environment.
